Praful is a seasoned Medical and Psychiatric Social Work (MSW) professional with over 15 years of extensive experience driving impactful initiatives across premier national and international organizations, including MSF/Doctors Without Borders (DWBI), MDACS, FPAI, HelpAge India, and MCGM.
A recognized leader in healthcare capacity building, Praful received the prestigious Mumbai (Mayor) Award from Mr. Mahadeshwar for outstanding services rendered to patients and staff at Sewri TB Hospital. Furthermore, their international training in Health Promotion in the Netherlands, sponsored by MSF/DWBI, enables them to seamlessly translate global best practices into localized field realities.
As an accomplished master trainer, Praful has spearheaded comprehensive soft skills, communication, and counseling modules for over 600 nursing professionals across Shatabdi and Sewri TB Hospitals. Their educational leadership also includes delivering guest lectures at TCH Nursing College, training MCGM’s Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) and ASHA workers, and presenting to medical doctors at the national NATCON CME program.
